Sad Times.....Happy TImes

October was a sad/exciting month for us.

We were losing a big core of our students from Botswana as they were graduating and returning home.

We went back to the United States and celebrated the marriage of our oldest daughter with a reception in their honor.

We celebrated the student’s graduation by taking them to dinner at Lookout Point.  The restaurant is not really the main attraction...it is the view from the high vantage point.  You can see the whole Klang Valley.
The best time to go is at sunset.

I believe they had a good time and enjoyed their meal.

In August, we also, took Nathaniel (Nigerian) and Michael (Ghanian) to the same place to celebrate their finishing here in KL.
Nathaniel has transferred to Canada to finish his degree.  Can you imagine going from Nigeria to Kuala Lumpur to Canada....what a temperature shock!
Michael is still here in KL doing his internship in architecture.  He will finish that in Jan and then return home to Ghana.  Both of these young men were very important to our ConneXion Ministry helping in any way they could and taking on leadership responsibilities.  We miss Nathaniel deeply and will be missing Michael very soon!  Good Luck to both of these young men who love the Lord with all their heart!

I could not post this blog without a snapshot of the happy moment in October.

Sad times....happy times....the Lord is in charge of them all!

...til next time...
