CO Farewell Dinner

Campus Outreach came with their own party planner.....Caroline Page!  She is great!

I know that Caroline did not plan the party all on her own but she is a great organizer! 

To end their time here they planned a farewell BBQ party that was held at the church.

It was for the CO team to say good bye to the students they had met, for us all to say good bye to a few students who were leaving us to go to other countries to study and for one last chance to share the good news!

International Red Carpet was the theme and the cafe at the church was decorated with flags from different countries.

Food was prepared by a well organized crew and chicken was grilled

It was enjoyed by all

We enjoyed worship and a very clearly explained gospel message

After the message the group was broken down into smaller groups to discuss what was heard and answer some thought provoking questions designed to illicit a response to what was presented

Students who are leaving:

Michael has finished his studies in Architectural Design and is doing an internship in Kuala Lumpur

Irene graduated from Limkokwing in graphic design and is back in her home country of Botswana

Nathaniel who is in charge of our conneXion meetings on Tuesday night is transferring to a University in St. Johns Canada.  He is from Nigeria

Nick is from East Malaysia and is majoring in Actuarial Science.  He is transferring to a school in Iowa....not UNC as his shirt might suggest!

We are going to miss them all but we know that God has great plans for their future....plans that will prosper them and give them hope.....we look forward to seeing what that is!
